PetGiving is a crowdfunding platform to help save animal lives and get them the care they need.
In the first phase of this project we needed to bring this vision to life through a cohesive visual identity that felt inspiring enough to get potential funding.
I lead the identity design for PetGiving and created the full branding system including logo design, custom illustration, and supporting brand elements.
We needed a wide variety of print collateral as well as a custom video presentation for the PetCo Innovation Showdown.
I applied the branding to new business cards, handouts, signage, and other promotional items. I also assisted with the video by creating poppy, on-brand animations for portions of the video.
As we started UI/UX design for the PetGiving browser app, my focus shifted from visuals to experience. I led several elements including project management, exploration of personas, user flows, and the interface design. Our challenge was to create a seamless and pleasant experience for donation that would keep users engaged, while also staying within a tight budget and a tighter timeline.
For the programming portion of the project, we collaborated with our development partner, Highland Solutions. The Phase 1 MVP launched in early 2020.
Over the course of the project, we helped this non-profit win $175,000 in funding from PetCo with branding, product design, and promotional materials.
